Nyawira is a Project manager and MEP specialist at B&L Management Limited. She is a former employee of Howard Humphreys (EA) ltd/ Atkins Consulting Engineers, attached as an electro-mechanical intern and Norkun Intakes Limited, as an Electrical Engineer. She is a Registered Graduate Engineer with 7 years' experience in project design, implementation, and supervision. Nyawira has successfully provided project engineering design services for numerous projects. The most recent ones include Amani Gardens in Kitisuru, TACC – Chirag Sanghrajka House in Runda, Kamburu Drive, Affordable Housing in Kisumu, Merica Hotel, Cytonn RiverRun Estate, Family Bank Headquarters and Branches, Stanbic Bank Headquarters, Daykio Plantations Headquarters, Standard Chartered Bank Headquarters and Branches, amongst others. She has also carried out Feasibility Studies, Development Appraisals, Quality Control, Cost Engineering, Cost Planning and Control, Claims Management, Disputes Resolution and Post Contract Administration where needed. These attributes equip her to handle large multi-disciplinary projects of any nature. Nyawira has extensive experience in project site management and dispute resolution which has been effectively used on projects such as BIC Industries in Kasarani, Movenpick Hotel in Westlands, amongst others. Nyawira has successfully provided Project management services in recent projects such as The Royal Norwegian Embassy in Nairobi, Safaricom Ethiopia Step Retail Shops and General Mills Flour Milling Factory in Mariakiani. She is also experienced in contract administration which has been used extensively in the Diani Lodge Hotel Project for Kenvest Hospitality.

Jemima is the Human Resource Manager and Admin of B&L Group. She has over 14 years’ experience in office operations, management & business development duties. She is responsible for General office administration duties, ensuring company’s policies requirements are met, Coordinating monthly statutory returns and reconciliation of books of accounts with external consultant. She also gives Support to the Director of Operations to set up and update HR database. She has worked with the Intercontinental Hotel Nairobi & Intercontinental Consultant & Technocrats Pvt. India between 2002 and 2018 as an Executive Floor Agent, then ICT as a Business Development & Public Relations Manager. Jemima holds a Bachelor Degree in History and International studies from Egerton University and a Diploma in Front office operations and administration. She is also attained HSK Level 1 certificate from Confucius Institute HQ Hanban.

Eng. Osamong is the principal Structural Engineer at B&L Engineering Services Limited (B&L). He is registered with Engineers Board of Kenya and holder of Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (JKUAT- Kenya). Serving in various capacities, he has successfully implemented and delivered projects across various sectors including infrastructure, residential sector, real estate, hospitality, health, civil works and logistics in his 21 years of professional practice. Osamong is experienced in design, value engineering and construction supervision, stakeholder and health and safety management, with a keen interest in advancing his knowledge in the above fields as well as sustainability, integrated project delivery, quality control and assurance. He is proficient in Autodesk Revit, Robot, RAM structural system, StaadPro and Etabs. His training, leadership, collaboration and diligence are his key strengths, proven by various recognitions of both his leadership, intellectual capabilities and servitude in his past and recent engagements. A registered Consulting Member of Engineers Board of Kenya, Osamong’s professional interest is using his skills and capabilities to improve project outcomes for clients not only by saving them money and time, but also by ensuring an amazing experience throughout the process.

Kevin is a Senior Civil Engineer at B&L Engineering Services Limited (B&L). He is also a holder of Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering (1st Class Hons) from the University of Nairobi. He has 5 years of experience in the design and construction supervision of buildings, bridges, roads, storm water drainage systems, water supply and sewer systems for multiple projects in various sectors e.g., health, manufacturing, infrastructure, logistics, energy, and real estate. Some key projects that he has taken part in are the Kenyatta National Hospital Master Plan, Nairobi Gate Industrial Park, Olkaria 1 Additional Unit 6 Geothermal Power Plant, Tilisi Developments Phase II and various real estate and residential development projects. Kevin is experienced in structural design of building and bridges, highway geometric and pavement design to Kenyan, Tanzanian, Ugandan and South African road design manuals, hydrological studies, hydraulic design, and traffic impact studies. He has also been a champion of adoption of Building Information Modelling (BIM) tools in civil engineering. He is proficient with several civil and structural engineering software packages e.g. AutoCAD, Autodesk Civil3D, Autodesk Storm and Sanitary Analysis, Autodesk Robot, Revit, Staad.Pro and Prokon. Kevin is well organized, resourceful and has excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Eng. Mugun is a Senior Highway engineer at B&L Engineering Services Limited (B&L). He has over 15 years in active roles spanning feasibility studies, detailed engineering designs, highways construction supervision, contracts administration and project management. Eng. Mugun has been actively involved in feasibility studies and detailed engineering design of transportation projects and urban development schemes in key roles ranging from scheme modeling to project management. Specifically, Eng. Mugun led the design and modelling of the road network across and within a 387-acre mixed use development complex for Tilisi developments, detailed engineering design of 4Km dual carriageway on the Magongo road in Mombasa city Eng, carried out feasibility studies, detailed engineering design and tender documentation for Kulamawe – Modogashe (B84) road and the 450Km Lake Victoria Ring Road, construction supervision and contract administration of the Webuye – Kitale Road (A1). Eng. Mugun is a registered professional engineer with Engineers Board of Kenya, Member of the Institute of Engineers of Kenya and Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Eng. Mugun is an Autodesk Certified Professional with specialist skills in Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Building Information Modelling (BIM) with specific expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Autodesk Infraworks 360 among a vast array of Planning, Design and GIS software.

Eng. Mali is a Senior water and sanitation engineer at B&L Engineering Services Limited (B&L). She has over 9 years of professional working experience gained while working with Howard Humphreys (EA) ltd/ Atkins Consulting Engineers and Dar Al-Handasah Consultants. She holds a Bachelors degree in civil engineering from the University of Nairobi, and currently pursuing her Masters degree in Environmental Engineering and Management at the same university. She is an Autodesk certified professional in Civil 3D and has good working knowledge of FIDIC contracts. Eng. Mali has played key roles in water and sanitation projects at different project stages including project inception and feasibility studies, detailed design as well as construction. She has successfully performed such tasks as preparation of construction drawings for water and sanitation infrastructure, preparation of tender documents, cost estimates, specifications, proposals, reports and supervision of construction works. Mali is a registered Professional Engineer with the Engineer’s Board of Kenya (EBK) and a corporate member of the Institution of Engineers of Kenya (IEK).

Eng. Richard heads the property division at B&L Engineering Services Limited (B&L). He is an experienced Civil/Structural Engineering professional with experience in planning, design and construction management in the built environment. Richard holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from The University of Nairobi and a Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI). Richard’s main area of expertise is the planning and management of multi-disciplinary projects by careful planning and effective management of project stakeholders and project teams to ensure projects are delivered to specified project requirements. Richard has over 25 years of experience in delivering consultancy services across Kenya in real estate, mixed use developments, industrial installations and infrastructure projects that cut across from geothermal power plants to warehouses and housing estates to lifestyle malls. Some of the notable projects that Richard has been involved in during his career include Two Rivers Mall, Olkaria IV & 1AU Geothermal Power Plant Project, Olkaria 1 Unit 6 Geothermal Power Plant Project, Nairobi Gate Industrial Park, Mae Ridge Housing Estate in Runda and Equity Centre. Richard is versed in the use of various computer applications (Autodesk and Microsoft Office) in the delivery of projects.

Eng. Silas Nguru heads the infrastructure division at B&L Engineering Services Limited (B&L). Prior to joining B&L, he was a Senior Highway Engineer and a Project Manager at SMEC International Pty and Atkins Consulting Engineers Limited. He is a registered Consulting Engineer with Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK) and a Corporate Member of Institution of Engineers of Kenya (IEK). He holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Nairobi and a Master’s of Science degree from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT). Eng. Nguru has over 17 years of professional experience. He has particular experience in key project roles including team leadership, project management, highway design, pavement design and materials investigation. His experience was gained while working on projects located at different geographical locations including Kenya, Uganda and South Sudan. Eng. Nguru is well versed with modern computer technology for project delivery including but not limited to professional use of Civil 3D, InfraWorks 360, Microsoft office suite, Microsoft Project, and Global Mapper among others. Eng. Nguru is passionate about customer satisfaction and talent development for young professionals.

Lawrence has over 13 years' experience in Civil & Structural Engineering services and Construction Project Management, and holds a Masters in Project Planning and Management and a BSc (Hons.) in Civil & Structural Engineering. He is also qualified in Section 1 of Certified Public Accountancy and currently pursuing a Masters in Diplomacy and International Relations. Formerly a Senior Project Manager with MML Turner & Townsend, a Civil/Structural Engineer & Project Manager with ATKINS and a Graduate Roads Engineer with the Ministry of Transport. Our clients have benefited from his dedicated, loyal, intellectual and innovative approach to project management and problem solving. Lawrence's core strength is in improving project outcomes for clients through insightful team leadership, risk mitigation and unique value addition. Lawrence acts in the capacity of Key Account Manager for a number of our current and pipeline clients, most notably in the infrastructure, real estate, hospitality and medical sectors. Bernard is the Group Managing Director of B&L Group. He has worked for and held various for other companies including Getso Consultants, Zakhem International, Howard Humphreys Kenya (subsidiary of Kellog Brown & Root), Howard Humphreys East Africa Limited as Director of Project Management and Resource Planning and Atkins Global as Director of Atkins Africa, responsible for Project Management services and QSSE. He is a Registered Quantity Surveyor with the Board of Registration of Architects and Quantity Surveyors (Kenya) with more than 33 years' experience in Project management and Quantity Surveying for projects in East Africa in all sectors in property and infrastructure . Some of the notable projects that Bernard has successfully led include the 184,000 square metres Business Bay Square Mixed Use Development, Kigeri Utalii City Mixed use development on 202 acres, Wrigley Gum Factory in Mavoko, LSG Sky Chefs Inflight catering facility at JKIA Nairobi, more than 10 capex projects for East African Breweries Limited, Brookside Dairy Factory expansion in Ruiru, Simulator Facility for Kenya Airways Embakasi, Southern Shield Headquarters Building for Fidelity Insurance Company Limited and Equatorial Commercial Bank, several housing projects, banks and retail centres amongst others.
